Acrobat Reader Documentation

Adobe's Acrobat Reader allows you to view Portable Document Format (PDF) files. Acrobat Reader automatically opens when you view a PDF, whether it is on your computer (as with an email attachment) or through websites such as the library's electronic resources. Installed by default for Windows, it is not installed for the Mac (but can be added through the Extras folder).

Please note that Acrobat Reader is a seperate product from Acrobat Professional; the former program allows you to read Portable Document Format (PDF) files, the latter also allows you to generate them.

Find documentation on both basic and advance use of Acrobat Reader though Adobe's Acrobat Reader Support Home.
