Connectivity Package Downloads

The primary medium for distributing the Connectivity Package is the official CD. However, you can download the Connectivity Package from this page and install it by executing the downloaded file. The downloadable version does not contain extras (such as McAfee antivirus) in order to keep the download size as small as possible.

To get started, follow the instructions for your operating system; keep in mind, these files are very large. You should not try to download these files without a high-speed connection (if you are on campus, the file should download in about a minute; a DSL or cable connection will take five to ten minutes, a modem connection well over two hours).

Windows XP or Windows Vista

Follow these instructions to download and install Connectivity Package 14.0 for Windows XP or Windows Vista

  1. Download CP14.exe; when prompted, save it on your hard drive (so you can find it easily when you are finished, we'd recommend saving it to your Desktop).
  2. Double-click the file CP14 on your Desktop (or wherever you saved it). It make take a minute or two to start the installer.
  3. Click "Install" to install the Connectivity Package on your computer.

Mac OS X

Follow these instructions to download and install Connectivity Package 14.0 for Mac OS X

  1. Download ConnectPack14.0.dmg; when prompted, save it on your hard drive (so you can find it easily when you are finished, we'd recommend saving it to your Desktop).
  2. Double-click the file ConnectPack14.0.dmg on your Desktop (or wherever you saved it). Once the folder is open (or if it opens automatically), Click the icon that reads NSIT Connectivity Pack 14.0.
  3. Follow the prompts to install the Connectivity Package on your computer.
